What a day! What a HOT DAY!! Despite being a tad warm, Manresa Caravan did its best to continue its support for the St. Louis Center. Fr. Satheesh, the CEO of the St. Louis Center was a great host. We asked him if he could do anything about bringing the temperature down a bit but he said, "I was only asked to make it a sunny, warm day with no rain." Well he hit a homerun if you ask me! Good work Fr. Satheesh! P.S. Next year can someone give Father a "Temperature Range" please!
On to golf, PSC Eddie Smith, PGC Jack Templin, SN Jerry Peters and myself gave that course "what for!" The great thing about golf courses is as you travel different holes, you pass others that are doing the same thing. It's a great way to make new friends and to rekindle old friendships. Just with the use of just a few words like, "How's it going?" "Did you see my Titleist?" "Hey Joe, we'll see you inside, we can catch up!" No matter what is said, it's always an opportunity to share a friendly word or two with someone and also tell a little white lie like "We're 14 under!!!
Seriously though, it was a great day and in the end The St. Louis Center, was able to raise some financial support from those in attendance! God Bless you Fr. Satheesh and your staff for the Ministry of Service you provide!
