The Christmas season wrapped up at Roosevelt-McGrath Elementary School in the Wayne-Westland School District. Chairperson Sheri Staub, Manresa elves and Santa visited 7 special education classrooms K-5 on December 21. Santa entered each classroom interacting with students with Autism, and physical and mental disabilities. Christmas stories were read, songs were sung, photos taken, and Santa t-shirts given to each student and staff. The excitement, wonder and smiles were especially heartwarming for students, staff and Manresa volunteers.
