Northville 4th of July Parade Report
After the severe storms the night before, the morning of July 4th became partly cloudy, truly a beautiful day to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday. Parade participates and spectators started lining up at 8am. Manresa Caravan had 15 members, 3 vehicles, 1 decorated trailer, and Manresa’s world-famous white go-cart. Mike Kreutzman was our substitute driver for the go-cart this year, as Fr. Paul could not be there. Mike did a great job driving the go cart. At 9:55am we got the signal to start our engines, as the parade was starting at 10am. Along the Parade route of 1 mile, spectators were standing 4 or 5 deep cheering and waving to the people in the parade. Again, this year, Manresa Caravan handed out over 400 small American Flags to people along the parade route. We are truly bless, to live in this great country! Happy 250th Birthday America!
Peace,
Ron Budzisz
